To build your order, simply add items to the virtual shopping cart. When
you are ready to "check out", click on the shopping cart in the navigation
frame to the left. The cart will calculate your shipping and present you
with a total. Click the "Go to payments" button at the bottom of the
cart, and you will be prompted to enter your name, address, etc.
After
submitting that info, you will be presented with an order summary; you
can now select which payment option you would like to use (credit card, check, etc.)
If paying by check or money order, you will be presented with an
order confirmation screen which will contain an order number. You should also receive
an e-mail with the order details and the address where you should send
your payment. (Steiger Performance, 836 King Road, Forestville, NY 14062).
A check can take 15-30 days to clear, so if you are in a hurry, you may
want to consider another means of payment. A bounced check will result in a $30 fee.
If you are paying via a credit card, you will be transferred
to an SSL secure server and prompted to enter your credit card information.
In general, your card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship. The
exception to this is for custom products such as the air intake kits, which
need to be built to order. In these cases, your card is charged when the
item is ready to be built and the product will be shipped as soon as it is
complete.
If you are paying via PayPal, you will be taken to the PayPal site
to complete the transaction.
Payment Methods Accepted
I accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, money orders and personal checks.
I also accept PayPal, which gives you the option of paying with a
card that I do not accept directly (such as American
Express), or from your PayPal balance or bank account. Orders paid
via credit card or PayPal can ship immediately, money orders may take
a week to clear, and personal checks can take 15-30 days to clear. As
such, if you are in a hurry, I recommend paying via credit card or
PayPal. (Note that if you pay via PayPal with your bank account as
the funding source, PayPal will not release the payment to me until
the funds have been transferred out of your bank account, which can
take a few days.)
Return Policy
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase(s) for any reason, you may return them (in re-saleable condition) within 30 days for a full refund (excluding shipping). Please include a copy of the invoice (or the invoice number) with any returns.
Warranty
All parts manufactured by Steiger Performance carry a 90 day warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If you discover a defective part, please contact me to arrange for repair or replacement.
Limit of Liability
If a product fails to perform as designed, Steiger Performance's only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of the product proven to be defective. User shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith.
